I have completed my post-graduate degree in commerce, and later on I found my interest in computer hardware and networking and, therefore, shifted to Bangalore to explore my career in right direction. I am technically good and looking for best opportunity to prove myself in this field. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#000066;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;My observations towards this field:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before joining the company my assumption regarding System Administrator’s roles and responsibilities was very limited. As per my earlier view, System administrator has merely the role of handling and taking care of IT equipments and solving upcoming day to day issues and that is all and over. Later I realized the truth that I was thoroughly unprepared and unaware of System administrative work. As the days passed and I involved into many activities and came to know it is not that simple as I presumed. Once you deal with unknown/new problems and you don’t find any way or person who can assist or support and make you comfortable, then situation become more difficult to handle.&lt;br /&gt;Basically I observed some real facts that, obviously, pinpoint a negative aspect of this field, and we cannot deny it just like that, as since I started working in this field and found that people don’t prefer to share their experience, the way of working or the knowledge they have. They intentionally avoid teaching/guiding each others, and of course there are some actual facts and figures responsible to make us building such non-helping nature/habit. Indeed it is difficult to search out reasons why it happens? But though there are certain points, as follows, that seem to be valid for representing that kind of environment among all of us:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#000066;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Reasons for not supporting each others:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#003300;"&gt;Circumstances that makes an engineer unfavorable in nature:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;In initial stage, Hardware engineer starts working from the bottom level of this field, and work extremely hard to establish himself in this field, physically and mentally too, moreover he notices some beginners failing and leaving out from this field. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;He hardly get favorable opportunity to learn from others, whatever he learns, learns from his day-to-day working experience and mistakes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;His learning undergoes very long time-period and step-by-step he understands how to manage and how to find solutions to the problems.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;In certain cases, where engineer finds himself alone without any supporter/instructor/guide to solve hang up issues.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;System engineer obviously works very hard to learn or to understand the things, as because he values his effort behind the experience he gained, and how can he share his knowledge to someone so easily? &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#003300;"&gt;Environment in company: (Especially in small organization)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;Whenever he makes mistake, he has to be responsible for all that, instead of the whole supportive team.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;Whenever he performs well, initiative is taken by whole team or company. he is, personally, not much appreciated by others. Especially in small organization, sometime Appreciation of an engineer is neglected as it creates a chance for an engineer to know his value and importance in company, And it is indirectly unfavorable to beginners who has aim to prove himself and grow his career. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;Everyone prefer to grow as individual than as a group.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;p&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#003300;"&gt;Competition:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; Even engineers are very gentle people, though they do not support each other just because of competition. of course, this is the Competition that makes them to build-up this unfavorable and non-supporting nature. i.e.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Everyone likes to be better than other; therefore they do not motivate others to perform better.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Having more knowledge than other is a big comfort for any engineer.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;And I personally feel nothing wrong here because, indeed, it has to happen wherever the competition exists. Hence working hard and making skillful image in our site is more important rather than building image in front of company, and we are supposed to have strong belief that we deserve the position what we hold. These unfavorable feelings and gaps that increase differences among all of us should be removed from the mind and take initiative of supporting each other. We should forget all competitive feelings towards each other and work together. Yes there is still a chance to grow up the level we dreamed. As I feel, there are two types of people: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#003300;"&gt;Talented people:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; The one who is born talented. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#003300;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Hard working people:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; The second one who becomes talented by their outstanding efforts and experiences. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;Indeed, it takes time to become talented, but it is not possible that who works hard and achieves nothing, as because &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;‘Practice Makes a Man perfect’&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;. In our field there are two way to become master. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;One way to work hard with all of our effort and gain experience through our individual working, but it is time consuming. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;Another way is to work in a group and share experience with each other. Sharing experience decreases the time of learning and provides the opportunity to make the best use of time. Therefore the task, which takes long time to achieve individually, can be obtained within surprisingly less time&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#000066;"&gt;Building a community is a best idea:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;The second point, as the above mentioned, is the best idea to execute to explore our talent. Therefore, to find out the best learning key or opportunity to establish our self in this field is to build up a large group of people who is ready to support each other honestly by heart in any cost, time and conditions. In other word, a group that is happily ready, agreed and available to share their views, ideas, problems, solutions and achievements to build up a strong network that can fight and short out any impossible looking task without any promise or personal benefit, as just a thinking of our moral duty is to support each other. Obviously we do not gain directly anything in monetary terms, but definitely we would get more than that in terms of better career, future with vast experience and knowledge of the field.&lt;br /&gt;In my opinion, planning, implementing, monitoring and maintenance all are technical process that requires experienced and skillful people for execution of entire project since beginning to the end. In other hand coordinating and working together can makes us strong, knowledgeable and skillful rather than working alone. Circulation of knowledge is far better than preserving/dumping knowledge in one’s mind. One can easily increase his knowledge if he spreads it among friends. Some of the benefits of sharing knowledge are as below: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#003300;"&gt;Power of Sharing Knowledge:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#003300;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;An example:&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; A new mathematics teacher, in the beginning, does not have much confidence on his art of teaching and understanding the basic logic/funda behind mathematical equations and formulas. But once he begins sharing or teaching his subject to the students he himself starts understanding the tough logics behind mathematics that was not possible at the time of his study as student. Sometimes this satisfaction blocks our mind to improve or develop ourselves professionally and we forget our deserved level of ability and talent. We feel no requirement of anything more than we currently have or we limit and fit ourselves on some constant level.&lt;br /&gt;In another case, we have to compromise with our underperformance just due to insufficient knowledge; We are very sensitive to our feelings. At times we demoralize our self because of dissatisfaction on task, and we give up the way for our desired things due to mind block with the fake assumption that we are not talented or it is out of our reach. Even after having collection of books and course material. We need each other's support and assistance. Therefore, here, the community is itself works as institution and we are the students as well as the teachers for each other. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="center"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#000066;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;(B) Satisfaction towards services and solutions:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;Whenever we need some On-Time-Solution and Service we look after any Computer service providers or technology vendors on Payment basis or Under AMC. Of course we get solution and feel satisfaction. But we never consider and cross-question with ourselves that: Are the services/solutions provided by vendor to us IS BEST? Would it fulfill our entire requirement appropriately?, because even after the Service, we may and may not meet our desired level of satisfaction, therefore we are always unaware about One-Real-Fact that THE MASTER SOLUTION is still disappearing from our site. If we implement all of it, it would indeed reduce our task, time and burden and make work easier. (Actually I believe we purchase software but do not implement/utilize it completely. As per my earlier view, System administrator has merely the role of handling and taking care of IT equipments and solving upcoming day-to-day issues and that is all and over. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ffffff;"&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;..........&lt;/span&gt;Later I observed the truth that I was thoroughly unprepared and unaware of System administrative work. As the days passed and I involved into many activities and came to know it is not that simple as I presumed. Once you deal with unknown/new problems and you do not find any way or person who can support you and make you comfortable and mentally prepared to face the issue, then the situation becomes more difficult to handle. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="justify"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#006600;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#ffffff;"&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;..........&lt;/span&gt;Therefore, as I realized, to find out the best learning key or opportunity to establish our self in this field is to build up a large network of people who is ready to support each other honestly by heart in any cost, time and conditions. In other word, a group that is happily ready, agreed and available to share their views, ideas, problems, solutions and achievements to spread technical knowledge and experiences to build up a strong network that can fight and short out any tough task without any promise or personal benefit, as just a thinking of our moral duty is to support each other.
